Rio Ferdinand has predicted Jude Bellingham to reject Liverpool and Real Madrid to join Manchester City in the summer.
Recently, Sky reporter Florian Plettenburg tweeted that there is a three-horse race between Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City to sign the sought-after midfielder.
Ferdinand tips Bellingham to join City
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand explained why he feels Bellingham will refuse moves to both Liverpool and in particular, Real Madrid to join Man City.
“Pep Guardiola has just signed a new deal and that means, especially if they don’t win the Champions League this year, he [Jude Bellingham] goes there with the mindset: ‘I’m going to be the man that brings you the Champions League.’

“That’s how I think he’s moving. That’s how I think he rolls.”
When asked to confirm whether he reckons Bellingham will join City, Ferdinand replied, “I think he will, yeah.”
“I think he’ll say, ‘Listen, I got a couple of mates there, English boys, I’m an English lad, I can go [Real] Madrid in 5 years.”
“There’s no rush. I think he thinks, ‘Listen man, I’m a superstar. I want to go and win the Premier League, because I’m an English-born boy.”
“And then I’ll go Madrid and do the same in a few years.”
Bellingham has every reason to be up for a move to the Sky Blues
As Rio Ferdinand mentioned, the fact that Pep Guardiola has signed a new contract till 2025 could be a major incentive for the player to join City.
Aside from that, Manchester City are one of the most well-run and successful clubs in the world.
With Erling Haaland added to one of the most feared sides in the world and the prospect of playing in the Premier League, the question remains why would the 19-year-old say no?
Rio Ferdinand may well be proven right as Jude Bellingham could well refuse to join Liverpool and Real Madrid to join Man City.
