Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United are competing with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore, according to 90min.
Leeds competing with Tottenham for Adama Traore
Leeds have wanted to sign Traore from Wolves in previous windows, and, according to 90min, the Whites’ director of football Victor Orta still likes the Spain international winger and wants to bring him to Elland Road.
Tottenham head coach Conte is a big fan of the winger as well and wanted to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January 2022 to play as a wing-back, according to the report.
90min have claimed that while Tottenham are reluctant to pay a relatively huge fee for the 26-year-old because he is out of contract at Wolves at the end of the season, Inter Milan and Napoli are preparing to offer him pre-contracts in January.

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United make a good offer to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window, then they will be able to sign Adama Traore.
It does not seem that Traore will sign a new deal, so Wolves could be tempted to cash in on the former Barcelona man in the middle of the season.
The winger has made six starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves so far this season.
Traore has scored one goal in those matches.
