Conor Coady has shared that Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson looks after Jude Bellingham in the England World Cup camp ‘like there is no tomorrow’, as he told the Lion’s Den.

The Everton defender even shared how the Liverpool captain ripped into the Borussia Dortmund star for sharing that his mum still makes his bed.

At 19, Bellingham is the youngest member of Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, but one of the most sought-after players in the world, including Liverpool being keen on signing him.

Previously, it was suggested that the relationship between Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham is pretty strong, so the fact that Henderson has taken the teenager under his win will please Liverpool fans.

Nonetheless, Coady shared an insight into England’s World Cup group and the lowdown of Henderson and Bellingham.

“He looks after Jude (Bellingham) like there is no tomorrow,” said Coady. “There was something the other day when we were having dinner.

“We mentioned that Jude is a young lad, sometimes we forget that because he is so mature. Fantastic footballer. He said something about his mum making his bed, no word of a lie.

“We are talking about Jude Bellingham here. One of the best players in the world. And Hendo sat up at dinner, he went ‘what?’ And Jude went ‘yeah, my mum makes my bed’, so Hendo is battering him.  I would say someone like Henderson and Walker set the example.”

ENGLAND LOOK TO BOOK KNOCKOUT PLACE

England just need to avoid a beating of all beatings and they should book their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup, after picking up four points from their opening two matches.

Bellingham has started both, and despite getting dominated by the USA last time out, he should keep his place for the local derby against Wales on Tuesday.

That will be expected to be a thunderous and all-action affair because England have a great chance of knocking Wales out.
