Liverpool have one dream signing and that’s adding Jude Bellingham to their ranks. Whether that happens in January or in the summer, it would lift the fanbase.

Perhaps Liverpool could use someone at England’s World Cup camp in Qatar to persuade the 19-year-old to head towards Merseyside for his next destination.

There were previous rumours that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham have been inseparable during their time out in Qatar and how ‘wherever one goes’, then ‘the other one hasn’t been far away’, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Well, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has shared an insight into what players have been doing during their downtime, including Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham, as he told England’s World Cup Diary.

Whilst there is talk of the duo not staying away from each other out on the training field, well, it seems as though they are also keeping tight behind the scenes as well, such as playing FIFA together, as Gallagher explained.

“On Thursday night Jude and Trent were playing FIFA on the cinema screen and I was watching them for a bit,” said Gallagher. “And they are at quite a good standard.

“To be fair, the lads in the squad are pretty decent at basketball too. I thought I was good at basketball but I don’t think I can compete with most of the lads. But I could definitely give anyone a go at FIFA because I play it a fair bit at home so if anyone wants a game on that I’d happily beat them.”

BELLINGHAM’S TIME TO SHINE

Still a teenager, embarking on his first-ever World Cup and his second major tournament, this could be the time Bellingham shines brightest.

At Euro 2020, he did play a role in the Three Lions reaching the final, but he wasn’t a starter.

Well, that is set to change against Iran on Monday night because he could be donning those England colours on football’s biggest stage.

From Spain superstar Gavi to France midfield powerhouse Eduardo Camavinga, there are many top young talents on show in the Middle East, but Bellingham might feel he is the best of the lot.
