Kyle Walker told Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka ‘you guys need to stop winning’ after he checked in for England duty ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Arsenal head into this break for domestic football with a five-point lead over Walker’s Manchester City in the Premier League table, who were beaten by Brentford on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s side have only dropped points in two games this season and are the surprise packages pushing the current champions.

Usually, it’s Liverpool knocking down that door, but those in north London aren’t knocking, but setting the pace.
Nonetheless, when Saka arrived at St George’s Park for England duty, he shook hands with Walker, who told him ‘you guys need to stop winning’ to which the Arsenal youngster laughed and added ‘don’t worry about that now’, as posted by England’s official YouTube account.

ARSENAL AND MAN CITY TITLE RACE
This break will, no doubt, suit Pep Guardiola’s side more because the momentum was with Arsenal and their blistering start.
Those first few games back will be crucial because, if the Gunners can get going again straight away, then this race will become very, very interesting.
A lot will also depend on how things pan out in Qatar.
Both Walker and Saka are expected to play crucial roles for Gareth Southgate’s side, and if they return after an early exit, then their confidence levels will be on the floor.
Equally, if they do pretty well, then they can take that rhythm into the second half of the season.
