90Min claim Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Arsenal and Tottenham target Marcus Thuram with the French striker in excellent form, but out of contract at the end of the current season. Thuram has already netted 13 goals this season.
Thuram, 25, has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Gladbach. If he fails to sign a new deal with Bundesliga side Gladbach, then non-German sides will be able to approach Thuram on a pre-contract arrangement from January 1.
That is likely to tempt Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea – whether that be signing Thuram on a free, or for a cut-price fee in January. 90Min say Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Thuram, who has 13 goals and four assists in 17 games.
Those stats are even better than Harry Kane, who has taken 22 games to reach 13 goals and three assists. It comes after 90Min said earlier this week that Spurs are weighing up a move. Milan Live say Villa and Arsenal are interested.

Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Arsenal and Tottenham target Thuram
What a signing Thuram would be for the majority of Premier League sides. Son of Lillian, Thuram has been likened to Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Arsenal icon Thierry Henry. So, on the cheap or for nothing, a potential gem.
Plenty of speed, plenty of power and plenty of goals. Thuram has 41 goals and 26 assists in 119 games for Gladbach, a club he has clearly, outgrown. The reason he is not signing a new deal, is probably Gladbach’s position in the league.
They sit in eighth place, way behind the front runners at this stage. So, Thuram will know he is capable of better. A move to the Premier League, especially to the likes of Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea would seriously tempt Thuram.
