Tottenham are eyeing Marcus Thuram as they consider launching a move to sign the Borussia Monchengladbach contract rebel in 2023.

Tottenham finally saw Dejan Kulusevski return to the starting lineup against Leeds United on Saturday and he was superb even after more than a month out.

Richarlison, Kulusevski, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane sounds like a very strong front line but Tottenham could still move for another option.

Lucas Moura’s time at Tottenham is surely winding down and it’s clear that Antonio Conte doesn’t think that Bryan Gil is ready to start.

Tottenham are eyeing Marcus Thuram

A forward with the versatility to play out wide and up front would be ideal and Fabio Paratici is being linked with a number of players of that mould.

Ben Brereton Diaz, Rafael Leao and Cody Gakpo are just a host of names mentioned over the last week.

90Min now claim that Tottenham have been watching Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram ahead of a possible move.

Thuram, 25, has been in absolutely blistering form for Gladbach this season.

The French forward has smashed 10 goals in 15 Bundesliga games whilst also chipping in with three assists.

Thuram is out of contract at the end of the season and there is no sign of a new contract being signed any time soon.

Tottenham are now looking at Thuram as a potential bargain signing, whether it’s a cut-price deal in January or free transfer in the summer.

Thuram has mostly played as a striker this season but he also has experience out wide, providing great versatility for Antonio Conte.

Arsene Wenger has previously compared Thuram to Thierry Henry and signing that kind of talent for free would be huge for Tottenham.

Paratici loves a free transfer or two, as seen in his time at Juventus, and Thuram could fit the bill for Tottenham’s director of football.
