Arsenal and Liverpool are no strangers to fielding Brazilian stars in the Premier League, such as Gabriel Jesus, Alisson and Roberto Firmino.

The Gunners and the Reds are now seemingly keeping an eye on that part of the globe – specifically at Palmeiras – where a special talent is emerging in Endrick.

According to Jorge Nicola, Arsenal are keen to sign the 16-year-old wonderkid, who has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Pele and Neymar.

Elsewhere, it was the BBC who claimed Liverpool are also interested.

Now, Endrick has taken a significant leap in his career, which will surely add to his value.

Arsenal & Liverpool target nets vital double

Well, the Brazil Under-17 international has already become a part of the first-team at Palmeiras, and he showed everybody exactly why he’s been fast tracked into senior football.

With Palmeiras losing 1-0 to Athletico Paranaense, the teenager came off the bench at half-time to score two vital goals in the second half, helping his side to a 3-1 win in Série A.

It was only the teenager’s fourth senior appearance for Palmeiras – his six goals in seven outings for the Under-20 side convinced Abel Ferreira to give him a chance, and he has certainly repaid that faith.

With five goals in just four appearances for the Brazil Under-17 side as well, Endrick certainly knows how to find the back of the net – he is utterly prolific.

He is now the youngest first-team goalscorer in the history of Palmeiras, aged just 16 years, three months and four days.

Arsenal & Liverpool face huge Endrick fee

According to Mundo Deportivo, those interested in the South American sensation will have to meet his release clause, which currently stands at €70m (£61m).

Of course, that is a huge fee for someone so young, but if Endrick continues developing at this rate, it would seem to be an investment into a potential Ballon d’Or winner.

The Palmeiras No.16 has already been described as a “special talent” by Gary Lineker after scoring an outstanding bicycle kick from outside the box, and his frightening ability could make that £61m fee seem like a bargain one day.

Keep an eye on Endrick, as we highly doubt this will be the last you hear of him.
