Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said this afternoon that Oleksandr Zinchenko, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney all are available for his team to face Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this weekend, as quoted in Football.London.

Arteta’s Arsenal will take on Conte’s Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Ghana international defensive midfielder Partey suffered an injury while on international duty, and so did Scotland international left-back Tierney.

Zinchenko, who can operate as a midfielder or as a left-back and joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, did not play for Ukraine over the international break as he was recovering from injury.

And Arteta’s comments this afternoon suggest that Zinchenko, Partey and Tierney all are available to play against Tottenham.

When asked about Zinchenko, Partey and Tierney, Arteta said: “They are part of the team.”

Boost for the Gunners

In our opinion, if Arsenal have Oleksandr Zinchenko, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney available against Tottenham Hotspur, then it will be a massive boost to their chances of picking up all three points from the North London derby.

Now, of course, these players may not start against Spurs in the Premier League game, but even having them as options on the bench would be encouraging for Arsenal.
