Dinamo Moscow youngster Milan Majstorovic admits he dreams of joining Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in the future and idolises Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic, speaking to MetaRatings.
The teenage centre-half will move to the Russian capital in early 2023, Dinamo having invested around £1 million to take him away from Vojvodina.
How long Majstorovic stays in Moscow, however, depends largely on how closely his development mirrors that of Vidic, for instance; the former Serbia international who joined Manchester United on the back of just 41 appearances for Dinamo’s local rivals Spartak between 2004 and 2006.

“Vidic and (ex-Chelsea star Branislav) Ivanovic are great role models. My dream is to go to a top league thanks to Dnamo,” explains Majstorovic.
“I think that this is where I can become an excellent defender. But if we talk about a specific league, I really like the English Premier League. The English style of play suits me.
“It would be great to end up at Tottenham. I have been following Spurs since childhood. And yes, I understand that not many people support this club. But I liked them.”
Milan Majstorovic dreams of playing for Tottenham Hotspur
Majstorovic, of course, would have grown up watching Tottenham Hotspur tear their way through the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino. So you can understand why the London giants caught the eye of an impressionable youngster with a love of the beautiful game.
Teenager Majstorovic will join Dinamo Moscow on a long-term deal. The club are currently seventh in the Russian Premier League table, and under the stewardship of former Watford and Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic.
“I will join Dynamo in the winter of 2023,” he explains. “And from that point, I will start playing for the club. I’ve already seen the training ground – it’s perfect. The training facilities are nice!
“Slavisa Jokanovic was a great footballer. He played for the Yugoslavia national team and won the national championship. We talked a little, and he told me about the life in Moscow and how the work is arranged at Dynamo. He said everything is great.”
