Gary Lineker has hailed Jude Bellingham after the Borussia Dortmund midfielder scored against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
Dortmund headed to the Etihad Stadium in search of a shock Champions League win.
Few expect City to lose at home but Dortmund certainly gave them a score.
Bellingham opened the scoring, diverting a Marco Reus effort into the back of the net.
City had to respond and did as John Stones levelled it up before Erling Haaland – who else? – popped up to score an acrobatic winner against his former club.

Gary Lineker has hailed Jude Bellingham
From 1-0 up to 2-1 down will disappoint Dortmund, especially after Saturday’s 3-0 thumping at RB Leipzig.
Bellingham impressed again though with his all-round game catching the eye just as much as his goal.
The 19-year-old has played beyond his years ever since he broke through at Birmingham City and is still looking so mature now.
This is widely expected to be Bellingham’s final season as a Dortmund player.
The Daily Mail reported in August that FSG expect Bellingham to sign for Liverpool next summer in a deal that could be worth around £100million.
That’s an unbelievable outlay but Bellingham may just be worth it.
His goalscoring and technical ability are there for all to see, but he combines it with the work rate off the ball that all managers are seeking.
Bellingham’s display on Wednesday night certainly impressed Match of the Day host Gary Lineker.
Lineker took to Twitter to rave about Bellingham, suggesting that he was showing shades of Manchester United legend Bryan Robson in midfield.
That’s interesting given claims that United are believed to be Liverpool’s main competition for Bellingham in 2023.
Lineker then added that Bellingham is a ‘huge talent’ with a firm belief that he can play a starring role for England at the World Cup in Qatar later this year
Liverpool may hope he doesn’t play so well that the price tag rises or other clubs join the race, but will love seeing Bellingham’s progress given that they need a new midfield star for the coming years.
