Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Liverpool have a ‘very good chance’ of signing Jude Bellingham in 2023, whilst Marc Behrenbeck added that there is a ‘big move’ on the horizon for the midfielder.
The 19-year-old is one of the most sought-after teenagers in world football and the Premier League big guns are keen to take him on board, as Sky Germany reporter Behrenbeck stated that he has ‘no release clause’ in his Borussia Dortmund contract.
The signs are clear that Dortmund would be willing to sell their superstar player because, when the price is right, then they have done just that with Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in the past.

Bellingham is the next player off the rank, and with certain teams in England currently struggling, especially in the middle of the park, it’s pretty obvious that they would point towards the England international to try and resolve their issues.
One thing is for sure, there is going to be a serious transfer fight for the all-action midfielder, and with a certain Brummie in Jack Grealish being the most expensive transfer for a British player of all time, well, Birmingham-born Bellingham might just smash that record.
Either way, according to Sky Germany’s transfer experts, it seems as though Bellingham would be keen on a move and Liverpool and Manchester United will be fronting the queue for a player with ‘perfect’ skill sets, as they told Sky Sports News.
“From the German perspective, Jude Bellingham, for sure,” said Behrenbeck. “Next year is the year for Dortmund to earn a lot of money from him.
“Dortmund are trying to keep him, but I don’t think that’s possible. It will be a big move in the summer. As far as we know, he doesn’t have a release clause. But he wants to go back to England.
“For me, he is the best 19-year-old in the whole world, at the moment. His attitude is really great and his skill set is perfect. I think there will be a big move and without a clause.”
Florian Plettenberg added: “Same situation with Sancho, Haaland and now Bellingham. He is an upcoming superstar player. I am totally convinced he will leave in 2023, maybe to Liverpool? Maybe to Manchester United. These are two teams have very, very good chances to get him.”

WILL LIVERPOOL PUT DOWN THE MONEY FOR BELLINGHAM?
Liverpool’s midfield needs refreshing, the fans know it, pundits are constantly talking about it and even Jurgen Klopp knows it by now.
Bellingham has been the main target for a long while and a player Liverpool fans are keen to see in their colours.
But it might just require a stupid amount of money being put on the table to sign him, so are those at the top willing to push the boat out so far for the rising star?
Well, if they don’t, and one of their Premier League rivals wins his signature, then the Anfield faithful aren’t going to be a happy bunch, that’s for sure.
