Football website 90Min claim Wolves have seen a bid of £18.8million accepted by German Bundesliga side Stuttgart to sign Sasa Kalajdzic – amid previous interest this summer from the likes of Chelsea, Everton and Newcastle.
Kalajdzic, 25, is a man in demand with his contract at Stuttgart set to expire at the end of the season. Reports earlier this month stated that Frank Lampard was battling old side Chelsea. Newcastle took a look before signing Alex Isak.
The Austria star has only managed 60 games in his three seasons at Stuttgart. An anterior cruciate ligament injury, and a damaging shoulder issue have limited his game time. But in his 60 games, he has scored 24, and laid on 12 assists.
But after a £12.7million bid was rejected by Stuttgart last week, a compromise has been found. Stuttgart were asking for a fee of £21million – but the two clubs have now agreed on a fee of £18.8million. A move to Wolves is imminent.

The report from 90Min states that a fee has been accepted by Stuttgart. After missing Stuttgart’s 0-0 draw with Koln on Sunday, he is now due for a medical and will sign a five-year deal. Another big signing for Wolves this summer.
Wolves bid accepted by Stuttgart to sign Kalajdzic
After a slow start in this summer’s window, Wolves are slowly – but surely – improving their side. Nathan Collins is a top addition at the back, while Matheus Nunes dramatically improves the Wolves midfield. Goncalo Guedes in attack, too.
But Wolves have lacked an in-form no.9. Raul Jimenez started on Sunday against Newcastle and was perhaps unlucky to see a goal ruled out. But he is far from the player he once was, and Kalajdzic gives Bruno Lage another option.
A player that is in form judging by his stats in the last few seasons. But maybe, more importantly, a player that has only just turned 25 – while Jimenez will be 32 by the time Kalajdzic celebrates his next birthday. A long-term replacement.
