Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told the club’s official website that Harvey Elliott is “completely fine” despite coming off at half time against Bournemouth at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
Klopp’s Liverpool hammered Bournemouth 9-0 in front of their own fans yesterday.
Midfielder Elliott stated the match.
The 19-year-old stated on the right of a midfield-three for Liverpool.
Elliott scored in the sixth minute and was brilliant in the first half.
Liverpool manager Klopp decided to bring him off at the break, and he has now allayed any worries about his fitness.

Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website about Elliott: “Harvey felt just a little bit in another game.
“We wouldn’t have taken him off, but being 5-0 up we thought if that’s not the moment then the moment will never come again.
“Nothing after the game, assessment now, spoke now only recently with the physio. [He] should be completely fine.”
Relief for Anfield faithful
In our opinion, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Harvey Elliott are very encouraging.
We know that Liverpool have also been affected by injuries in their midfield department.
So, another injury would be really bad for the Reds.
Elliott being brought off at half time must have been really worrying for the Liverpool fans, but we now know that it was just precautionary.
The former Fulham youngster is doing quite well for Liverpool at the moment, and it is imperative that he stays fit and continue to get regular playing time for his growth and development.
