Leeds and Newcastle linked with Bamba Dieng

Leaving Marseille soon

And it seems that Leeds, Newcastle, Celtic and West Ham could be able to secure the services of Dieng for €15 million (£13 million).

Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Dieng will leave Marseille soon in the summer transfer window.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Marseille want €15 million (£13 million) as transfer fees for the youngster, and that there is interest in him from clubs in the Premier League.

Good signing?

Described as “an explosive player with great potential” by former Marseille head coach Jorge Sampaoli in Ligue1.com in October 2021, Dieng would be a good signing for Leeds or Newcastle, especially for €15 million (£13 million).

Dieng made 11 starts and 14 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Marseille last season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in those matches.

The 22-year-old also made three starts and two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Marseille last season.
