Everton transfer target Armando Broja has thanked the Chelsea fans on Instagram after he made his second appearance for the club on Saturday at Goodison Park.
The 20-year-old was loaned out to Southampton last season, where he scored six Premier League goals, and he was handed 15 minutes by Thomas Tuchel against Everton yesterday during the London club’s 1-0 win.
Ironically enough, Broja’s debut also came against the Toffees, when then-boss Frank Lampard handed him five minutes during a 4-0 win in 2020.

Whilst Broja came off the bench for the Blues, the team on the other side has to play a false nine, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin out injured for the Merseyside giants.
That’s a big reason why Lampard wants a reunion with the player because they still need more attacking faces through the doors following Richarlison’s exit this summer.
Nonetheless, this is what Broja posted on social media after donning Chelsea colours for a second time on Merseyside.
BROJA TO STAY AT CHELSEA?
Both Everton and Chelsea are looking for goals with the new Premier League season underway, Thomas Tuchel has a youngster ready to explode, but will he be handed a chance on a regular basis?
Well, he didn’t even start, so it will be interesting to see how he is used down the line and what the London club do in the transfer market.
It seems as though Chelsea’s new owners are going to well and truly splash the cash, as they have done with recent signings Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Kalidou Koulibaly.
That could bode well for Everton because it then might push Broja down the pecking order, and if that happens, then it opens the door for a move before the window slams shut on September 1.
