West Ham United want Filip Kostic but the Eintracht Frankfurt star has yet to make his mind up about a potential move.
The Hammers continue to chase new signings even if a few deals appear to have slipped through their net.
Jesse Lingard has ended up at Nottingham Forest whilst Amadou Onana’s potential move from Lille doesn’t look any closer.
Add in Chelsea stalling on Armando Broja and a potentially exciting week of transfers turned into a damp squib.
West Ham remain in the hunt for quality signings though and are now pushing for Kostic.
West Ham United want Filip Kostic
The Hammers are going for Kostic, whose versatility may be well-appreciated by boss David Moyes.
Kostic can play as a left winger or left wing back, and has featured prominently in both roles during his time with Frankfurt.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in 2023 and Frankfurt may be tempted to cash in now before he leaves for nothing.
Sky Sports claim that West Ham have offered £10million plus add-ons for Kostic.
The problem for West Ham is that Kostic is undecided on a move to East London as things stand.

Frankfurt have Champions League football on offer having won the Europa League last season, dumping West Ham out in the semi-finals.
That may well tempt Kostic into staying put for one more season with Frankfurt, and would leave West Ham gutted.
Kostic has great pace up the left flank whilst his deliveries into the box would be a dream for West Ham attackers.
Seven goals and 15 assists in all competitions last season showed Kostic’s quality and whilst he may not be a long-term answer for West Ham, he can offer an immediate threat.
West Ham will now be left anxiously waiting to hear if Kostic wants the move or not, especially as rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to be keen.
Another left-sided player surely isn’t Tottenham’s priority right now, but their lingering interest will leave West Ham fearing a hijack.
