VfB Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat has revealed there have been no offers for star striker Sasa Kalajdzic, who both Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing.

Speaking to Sky Germany, the former Arsenal transfer chief said that no bids are yet to come in for the 25-year-old Austrian international, with the report revealing, though, that Brighton and Hove Albion are now in the chase to sign Kalajdzic alongside United and Tottenham.

Kalajdzic enjoyed a great year in the Bundesliga with Stuttgart, with the towering attacker now linked with a move to the Premier League, with the German side valuing their star striker at a reported £21m following his heroics to keep Die Schwaben in the top-flight.

With six goals in 15 league matches last season following on from a year where Kalajdzic bagged 17 in all competitions, it makes sense why Premier League interest is now at an all-time high for the Austrian international, who looks ready for a new challenge this summer.

Indeed, Kalajdzic could be perfect for the physicality of the Premier League, yet despite plenty of reported interest in the former Admira Wacker star, Stuttgart’s transfer guru Mislintat admitted that the 25-year-old is yet to have a single offer this summer.

Mislintat said: “There are no offers. To me, there’s three options: you sell, you extend his contract, or the contract expires if there are no offers that are good enough to accept them. We’re in excellent talks with Sasa about his situation. And for me it’s always important when they are there, that they give their all and he does that, you can see that in every training session.”

Kalajdzic could be a late summer signing for Tottenham or United

After a near-miss with relegation last season, Kalajdzic looks ready to leave Stuttgart and to challenge himself elsewhere, and either Tottenham or United could make a late move to sign the Bundesliga superstar in the summer transfer window.

As we know, Premier League sides have until September 1st to make new signings, and with the season starting August 5th, United or Tottenham have time to assess their options in the squad before making a late move to bring in fresh faces, which could include Kalajdzic.
