According to the Independent, Juventus want Gabriel Magalhaes after missing out on Kalidou Koulibaly to Chelsea.
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian giants wanted to sign the Senegal international, but after Napoli refused to do business with another Serie A side, Massimiliano Allegri has been forced to look elsewhere.
Now, Juventus are targeting Gabriel as a result of Chelsea stealing Koulibaly from them, and are hoping that their strong relationship with Arsenal will help negotiations run smoothly.
The Independent add that Arsenal want £50m for the Brazilian, who arrived from LOSC Lille in a £22m deal back in 2020.
However, Juventus could offer a lower sum, and throw in Adrien Rabiot as part of their bid to sign Gabriel.
Interest in the 24-year-old comes after he enjoyed a very strong 2021/22 campaign for the Gunners, scoring five goals in 39 appearances across all competitions as he became a favourite under Mikel Arteta.
The Independent believe Gabriel and his representatives are open to joining Juventus, so if a reasonable offer is made, the South American could be leaving the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea could make Arsenal lose Gabriel

With Chelsea on the verge of signing Koulibaly, it seems the Blues have directly caused Juventus to circle around Arsenal for one of their best players.
We’re sure Arteta won’t appreciate that, although the situation is now out of his hands.
Interestingly, Arsenal could actually end up signing a replacement for Gabriel from Chelsea.
According to some sources, Arsenal have asked about Levi Colwill, the 19-year-old Chelsea prodigy who has just returned from an impressive season-long loan at Huddersfield.

The Gunners are definitely interested, although they face competition from Crystal Palace and Everton for the teenage sensation.
As you can see, the transfer window is starting to hot up, so be sure to keep an eye on developments.
