According to MediaFoot, Arsenal are looking at Lyon striker Moussa Dembele ahead of a potential summer transfer.
The French striker has long been linked with a move back to the Premier League after coming through with Fulham as a teenager, and now, the Gunners are apparently keen on the number nine.
This is a rather exciting rumour. After all, Dembele has been banging in the goals in Ligue 1 for years at this point, and one man who will surely be very happy to hear this report is Kieran Tierney.
Of course, Tierney played with Dembele during their time together at Celtic, and it’s fair to say that he enjoyed playing alongside the striker in Glasgow.
Indeed, Tierney has previously gone on the record to speak about how much he loves playing with Dembele.
What’s been said?
Tierney spoke about Dembele to The Glasgow Times.
“He is brilliant, Moussa,” Tierney said.
“I remember one game where I fired a ball up to him and he took it on the chest and made a terrible ball from me look so simple. It actually finished up making me look good.”
“Having somebody like that in your team is brilliant.”

Great option
Dembele would be a great option for Arsenal if they can bring him in from Lyon.
Yes, the Gunners have already added Gabriel Jesus this summer, but they’ll need depth up front if they’re going to challenge on all fronts this season.
Dembele would be able to push Jesus for that starting spot, and as Tierney’s comments show, the Frenchman already has a great on-field rapport with one of the Gunners’ star players.
This could be an excellent signing should Arsenal wish to pursue this avenue.
