Newcastle and Everton target Christian Eriksen to join Manchester United
The Athletic are reporting this afternoon that former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Eriksen has verbally agreed to move to Manchester United.
The report has claimed that the Denmark international attacking midfielder has told the Red Devils that he is prepared to accept their proposal of a three-year contract.
Paperworks are being sorted now, and Eriksen will then undergo a medical, according to The Athletic.
This latest development suggests that Eriksen has turned down offers from Newcastle and Everton.

Missing out
The Times reported last month that Newcastle and Everton made offers to the former Inter Milan playmaker, described as “the complete midfielder” by Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti in GhanaSoccernet in February 2020.
The 30-year-old was reportedly considering them, and now it seems that he has made his decision.
Everton and Newcastle have missed out on the signing of the former Brentford star.
Understandable decision
Manchester United may not be in the UEFA Champions League next season and are unlikely to challenge for the Premier League title.
But they are arguably the biggest club in England, and we are not surprised that Eriksen has decided to move to Old Trafford, not Newcastle or Everton.
