Liverpool signing Jude Bellingham is getting column inches again.

According to Goal, the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, valued at approximately £100 million, would be ‘more than interested‘ in signing for Liverpool.

This tallies with what The Mirror reported last month, claiming that Jurgen Klopp’s recent contract extension will have made life at Anfield a lot more appealing for the 19-year-old.

Reacting to a story about Bellingham joining the Merseysiders, former Reds left-back Jose Enrique is ‘100 percent sure’ that the player would want to join Klopp’s side, but believes the transfer fee may represent a legitimate problem.

Liverpool signing Bellingham is something that could easily happen.

Well, next summer anyway.

And it isn’t because the player is a long-time supporter of the Anfield side. It’s because actually, they could be amazing for one another.

Bellingham will want and need a manager like Klopp to take him to the next level of his development.

And Liverpool themselves will be needing a generational midfielder to take over the reins from Jordan Henderson in the long term.

With Naby Keita injury prone, Thiago the wrong side of 30 and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain blowing hot and cold for years, the German manager needs a solid, ever-present and outstanding player in his midfield.

And Bellingham might just be that player.
