Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Nathan Ake is keen on a move to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea from Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Chelsea and Manchester City are in talks over the transfer of Ake, who has been linked with Tottenham as well.
Romano has added that the Netherlands international central defender himself is “keen on the move”, just like his Manchester City teammate Raheem Sterling is.
Chelsea want Sterling from Premier League champions City as well.
Earlier this week, 90min reported that Tottenham are considering a move for Ake.

Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk plays with Ake for the Netherlands national team, and the former Celtic star believes that the 27-year-old is “a fantastic player”, as quoted in Tribune in March 2020.
The Sun have reported that City want £50 million for Ake.
Tottenham Hotspur target Nathan Ake keen on Chelsea transfer
Spurs or Blues?
In our view, Chelsea will have a better chance of signing Nathan Ake from Manchester City than Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
Ake is a former Chelsea player who may feel that he has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.
Moreover, with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen having left Chelsea already, Ake is likely to simply walk into the Blues’ starting lineup.
