Stephen Kelly has claimed that Tottenham’s incoming transfer, Richarlison, ‘ticks all the boxes’ for Antonio Conte, as he told Sky Sports News.
The former Tottenham player added that the Everton forward will be a ‘really good addition to the squad’ ahead of his rumoured £60 million move from Merseyside.
With Champions League football locked in for next season, those at Hotspur Way have been pretty busy in bringing new faces through the door.

Three have already been added to Conte’s squad, including Yves Bissouma from Brighton, whilst another new boy, Ivan Perisic, recently liked a post dealing Richarlison’s imminent move to the club.
Nonetheless, this is what Kelly had to say about that Richarlison transfer and what he can bring to the table next season.
“I think he would be a really good addition to the squad,” said Kelly. “They have been looking for someone who can play instead of Harry Kane when he’s not playing.
“He fits that bill. He can play central, as a number nine and he also fits into the wide areas. I think what Conte will love is his tenacity, his energy and he’s feisty. He has got a bit of bite about him and is a hard worker.
“So, he ticks all the boxes in the sense of what Antonio Conte wants from his player. If Spurs get someone like that through the door, then it will be another great addition to the squad, especially with Champions League football.
“Plus, he has done it before in the Premier League, so I think that makes a massive difference.”

WHAT CAN TOTTENHAM ACHIEVE NEXT SEASON?
Conte is a proven winner, especially in England following his title success at Chelsea and FA Cup triumph before doing the business at Inter.
But Tottenham aren’t proven winners, nor do they have many of them in their dressing room, so from that perspective, it’s going to be tough for the Italian to go over that trophy line.
However, saying that, the squad that the likes of Daniel Levy, Fabio Paratici and Conte are building is quite something and one that should secure Champions League football again next term.
Whilst the top two – Manchester City and Liverpool – are in a league of their own, so those in north London have to, at the very least, push for the domestic trophies, such as the FA Cup and the League Cup.
If Harry Kane goes another season without ending his trophy hunt, then he might just end his career empty-handed and that simply can’t happen for the England captain.
