According to 90min, Tottenham are wary of Arsenal beating them to Richarlison after Chelsea edged ahead in the race to sign Raphinha.
What’s the story?
Well, Arsenal were hoping to sign the Leeds winger this summer, but according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are now close to sealing a £60m deal for the Brazil international.
In the meantime, Spurs have been working on a deal for Richarlison, although Tottenham are now wary of Arsenal getting involved as they seek alternatives to Raphinha.
As a result, 90min believe Tottenham are trying to wrap up a deal for the Everton No.7 as quickly as possible, and want him in N17 before the start of pre-season.
The Toffees are demanding £60m for the man they signed from Watford, a sum which Tottenham are supposedly happy to pay.

Spurs wanted to add players into the deal, such as Steven Bergwijn and Harry Winks, although 90min believe any deal for Richarlison will be a cash-only transfer.
In our view, we may even see that figure go beyond £60m if Arsenal and Tottenham ignite a bidding war in north London.
Tottenham have alternatives if Arsenal sign Richarlison
If Tottenham do see their worst fears realised, and Arsenal win the race to sign Richarlison, there are at least alternatives for Fabio Paratici to pursue.
One of which could also come from Everton, as Spurs express an interest in signing Anthony Gordon.

Away from Goodison Park, there has also been talk of a move for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, while Tottenham have again been credited with an interest in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if Arsenal sign Richarlison, although it would certainly be an inconvenience given the amount of groundwork Spurs seem to have done.
Keep a close eye on this situation, with pre-season set to begin soon.
