90Min claim Rangers have been offered the chance to sign Tottenham and England midfielder Harry Winks – but the Ibrox club could face competition from Everton, Wolves and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester.
Winks, 26, has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham. The signing of Rodrigo Bentancur in January saw the Uruguayan immediately become first choice alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Now, Spurs have spent £30million to raid Brighton and sign Yves Bissouma. It sees Winks become fourth choice, possibly even fifth choice with Oliver Skipp being handed a new contract at Spurs despite injury.
Reports claim £20million Winks can leave Spurs this summer – and now, Rangers might sign the England man. Brentford, Wolves, Leicester, Everton and Crystal Palace are all interested.
Rangers offered Tottenham midfielder Winks
It seems incredibly ambitious for Rangers to sign Winks. A player that would cost almost double their club-record signing of Tore-Andre Flo – at £12million. A loan is much more realistic.
Rangers do have potential Champions League football on offer, though they will have to go through the qualifying stages. They also have the chance to win numerous trophies.
But Winks will be aware that a move to Scotland almost ends any chance of breaking his way back into England’s World Cup squad. James Tavernier will testify to that. A wonderful signing, but very unrealistic.
