Yesterday, Brighton posted a video to show their gratitude to Yves Bissouma, after he completed a £25m move to Tottenham.
The footage showed a number of highlights from the Malian’s four years in the Premier League so far, although the Seagulls also added one moment which Spurs fans will have enjoyed seeing.
What’s the story?
Well, 22 seconds into the video, Bissouma can be seeing in fits of laugher at the Emirates Stadium, after he helped Brighton record a 1-1 draw against Arsenal back in 2019.
The result caused Arsenal to squander Champions League qualification under Unai Emery, allowing Tottenham to swoop in and secure fourth place in that 2018/19 campaign – finishing just one point above the Gunners.
Bissouma clearly enjoyed it, as he was spotted laughing hysterically while the Arsenal players sat on the turf in disbelief.

It wasn’t exactly a special occasion for Brighton, so we believe the Seagulls have added that moment into their montage purely to appease Tottenham fans.
You can see the video below – be sure to skip to 22 seconds to see the incident involving Bissouma.
Nobody knows for sure why the 25-year-old was laughing, although with none of his Brighton teammates close to him in the video, it can certainly be assumed that he was laughing at the Gunners.
How Tottenham could line up with Yves Bissouma
In his 28 appearances last season, Bissouma predominantly played in a defensive midfield role.
The Malian played 21 games in that role, while also playing as a central midfielder in seven outings.
Therefore, we believe he will replace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg at Tottenham.

It has already been said that the Dane could now leave Spurs following Bissouma’s arrival, with Newcastle interested in securing his signature.
We believe Antonio Conte will pair Bissouma with Rodrigo Bentancur, and use Hojbjerg – if he stays – as backup along with Harry Winks.
Whatever happens, Bissouma looks likely to be a fantastic addition to Tottenham.
