Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur could sell Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer transfer window amid reported interest from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, according to The Times.
The Times have reported that following the signing of Yves Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion, Tottenham ‘could now sell Harry Winks and possibly Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Bissouma are likely to be the two central midfielders in Conte’s team next season.
Interestingly, Hojbjerg, who cost Tottenham £15 million in transfer fees (Sky Sports), has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
The Mirror reported in April that Newcastle are planning to make a bid of £30 million for the Denmark international midfielder.

Opportunity for Newcastle to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham Hotspur
In our view, Newcastle United now have a chance of signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
If Spurs could possibly sell the 26-year-old and Newcastle are keen on him, then the Magpies should make a bid for the midfielder, described as “fantastic” by Tottenham head coach Conte in Football.London in April.
Having just signed Bissouma, Spurs could be open to taking £30 million for a player who may not be a regular in the staring lineup even with Champions League football on offer.
