Brenden Aaronson has posted on his Instagram story ‘congrats my boy’ after Leeds United secured the transfer of Rasmus Kristensen.

On Wednesday, Leeds announced on Twitter their second arrival of the summer transfer window, with right-back, Kristensen, joining from Red Bull Salzburg.

That’s Leeds probably having Salzburg on speed dial because Jesse Marsch is already using his contacts pretty well in trying to improve his new side.

It will be interesting to see if the Yorkshire club continue to fish in these same waters because more signings are needed, after they survived relegated to the Championship on the last day of the 2021/22 Premier League season.

The Leeds faithful will be glad that they are finally bringing in new faces and bulking up their squad.

Whilst Marcelo Bielsa was widely loved by the Leeds faithful, the one issue they probably had was his stubbornness not to bulk up his squad.

It was down to the fact that he liked working with a smaller group of players and felt that’s how he could get them to be able to cope with his high intensity.

Nonetheless, whilst Aaronson is delighted with Kristensen’s arrival, the Danish star has already had his say on his new Leeds teammate.

Kristensen claimed that Aaronson is a ‘quality player’ and shared that they ‘lived in the same building’ during their days at Salzburg.

Perhaps they will do the same thing in Yorkshire, as they now face their biggest test on the Premier League stage,
