Bukayo Saka leaving Arsenal is a topic of real discussion at the moment.

Manchester City have been linked with signing the player a lot in recent days.

Not only that, but The Daily Mail have now reported that Liverpool are also very interested in the 20-year-old winger, even if they’re trailing Pep Guardiola’s outfit in the race to sign him.

Saka leaving Arsenal would devastate virtually every supporter of the North Londoners out there – and David Seaman – given that he’s one of their own, a Hale End graduate.

However, the Gunners also have to worry about another club, according to one journalist.

Graeme Bailey has revealed that Real Madrid are now also taking a ‘very keen’ interest in the player, whose contract expires at the Emirates Stadium next summer.

Arsenal have the option to trigger a one-year extension, something they’ve indicated to the England international they will do, according to the journalist.

He told 90 Min’s Talking Transfers podcast: “From what I know Arsenal have already told him they’re taking up the option if they have to. They’d probably rather not take up the option and just do a new deal.

“Saka is a player who needs to be playing at the top level. It’s a matter of when do you cash in? We know Manchester City love him. I’m told Real Madrid have taken a very keen interest in his progress as well.”

Bukayo Saka leaving Arsenal?

Well, it’s definitely possible.

This is a player earning only £30,000 per week at Arsenal and therefore Mikel Arteta’s side are liable to losing him.

Finances won’t be heavily influencing Saka’s future yet, but he could and should be earning far more money and with Real reportedly keen, well this is dangerous for the Gunners.

The Spanish giants, Liverpool and City are all capable of blowing Arsenal out of the water completely with regards to salary proposals and hopefully for Arteta and Edu, they can still tempt him to sign a new long-term contract regardless.
