Tottenham Hotspur central defender Joe Rodon may not get much playing time under Antonio Conte at Spurs, but he is a regular for Wales and will play at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Rodon, who cost Tottenham £11 million in transfer fees in 2020 (The Guardian), helped Wales beat Ukraine 1-0 in the World Cup qualifying playoff final on Sunday.
The 24-year-old started in the centre of a back-three and produced a brilliant performance.
Wales kept a clean sheet and won the game, which means that they have qualified for the World Cup finals in Qatar later this year.
The Telegraph reported in April that Tottenham are willing to sell Rodon in the summer transfer window.
WalesOnline have raved about Rodon for his performance for Wales against Ukraine and have suggested that Tottenham herd coach Conte should play him more often.

Tottenham centre-back Joe Rodon praised for Wales display
While rating Rodon’s performance as 9 out of 10, WalesOnline wrote: “Read the game brilliantly to snuff out the danger with several superb interventions.
“Got his head into danger on a couple of occasions and put his body on the line alongside his defensive colleagues when Ukraine continued to press.
“Are you watching, Antonio?”
Rodon made three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham this past season.
During the 2020-21 season, the 24-year-old Welshman made eight starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs.
We think that Rodon should leave Tottenham this summer and find a club where he would play more often.
