Italian outlet TuttoUdinese claim Tottenham and Everton are interested in a deal for Udinese’s Brazilian defender Rodrigo Becao. The report says Udinese would require a fee of just £17million for the colossal centre-back.
Becao, 26, missed just three Serie A matches for Udinese last season. He helped his side finish in a more-than-comfortable 12th position in Italy’s top tier, clocking up eight clean sheets in his 35 outings.

He also captained his side nine times during the second half of the season, scoring twice against Cagliari and Venezia. But he is about to enter the final two years of his contract and clubs are becoming interested.
Indeed, the report claims Tottenham and Everton are keen on the right-footed powerhouse. Both clubs are likely to sign a defender this summer, and a fee of £17million will surely prove enticing.
Tottenham and Everton interested in Becao: £17million is a bargain
The Udinese star is a throwback to more of an old-fashioned centre-back – a very un-Brazil Brazilian. He is known for his strength, his ability in the air and his one-on-ones. He has been a mainstay for Udinese.
While he would struggle to start for Spurs, he would be excellent cover for Eric Dier if Joe Rodon goes. Nottingham Forest want to strike a reunion between Wales star Rodon and their manager, Steve Cooper.
Everton could also do with a central defender, an issue throughout the season for Frank Lampard’s side. Michael Keane has been poor, and Yerry Mina is constantly injured. It is an area that requires strengthening and Becao would do that.
