Paul Merson has written on SportsKeeda that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus would be a good signing for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and would be able to play alongside Eddie Nketiah for the Gunners.
The former Arsenal star believes that Jesus would be a great fit at the Gunners.
According to Goal Brasil. Arsenal are keen on signing Jesus from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal Technical Director Edu is reported to have personally spoken to Jesus, who earns £91,000 per week (SalarySport) at Premier League champions City.
Eddie Nketiah is out of contract at Arsenal this summer, but The London Evening Standard have reported that he will sign a new deal with the Gunners.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “I thought Alexandre Lacazette would kick on after Aubameyang left, but he didn’t really get going.
“He’s a much better player than his performances this season have shown him to be.
“Arsenal have been linked to Gabriel Jesus and I think he’ll be a great fit alongside Eddie Nketiah, who’s going to get better.”
Gabriel Jesus would make Arsenal better
In our view, Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus would be a good signing for Arsenal and would make the Gunners better and more potent in attack.
The Brazil international can play out wide as well, and this versatility and fluidity would be an asset for the Gunners.
Jesus has won Premier League titles with City, and he would bring that winning mentality to the Arsenal dressing room.
The forward has scored 58 goals in 159 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
