Reported Liverpool target Christian Pulisic is frustrated at Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea, according to The Daily Mail.

The Daily Mail reported on May 31 that Liverpool are interested in signing Pulisic from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Sadio Mane wants to leave Liverpool, and Klopp needs to sign a replacement.

Klopp rates Pulisic highly, describing him as “really skilled” in a press conference in January 2019.

The Daily Mail are now reporting that Pulisic, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or winger, is ‘frustrated by his lack of starts under Thomas Tuchel’.

Juventus and AC Milan are interested in the USA international, who cost Chelsea £58 million when they signed him from Borussia Dortmund, according to the report.

Could Christian Pulisic leave Chelsea for Liverpool?

In our view, Liverpool are unlikely to be able to sign Christian Pulisic from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have new owners now and are a rich club, so they do not need to sell players for funds.

The 23-year-old has a contract at Chelsea, who will be aware that no club is going to pay £58 million for the American now.

Selling Pulisic to Liverpool would only make the Reds stronger, which Chelsea will surely not want if they are to close the gap between themselves and the Merseyside club.
