Liverpool are interested in Christian Pulisic but don’t expect to be signing him from Chelsea this summer due to his valuation.
Liverpool lost the Champions League final to Real Madrid on Saturday evening and things have only got worse for the Reds.
Sadio Mane looks set to leave Liverpool, wanting a new challenge with just one year left on his contract.
Mane’s exit – potentially to Bayern Munich – would leave Liverpool with a major hole to fill in their attack.
Jurgen Klopp now needs to try and bring in a replacement and a host of names are already being linked with Liverpool.
Liverpool are interested in Christian Pulisic
The Daily Mail now report that Liverpool do have an interested in signing Chelsea winger Pulisic.
Pulisic is a player that Klopp really likes but there is a belief that no deal will be done as things stand.
Chelsea’s valuation is believed to be beyond Liverpool right now and the Reds aren’t prepared to break the bank.
Pulisic, 23, only managed 22 Premier League appearances last season with six goals and two assists.
There have been flashes of Pulisic’s quality during his time with Chelsea but he hasn’t been a consistent Premier League threat.

The American winger isn’t a first-choice player under Thomas Tuchel and Mane’s exit may provide the prospect of a bigger role at Liverpool.
Klopp has even called Pulisic ‘really skilled’, and the pair actually go back to Borussia Dortmund together.
Pulisic was coming through the Dortmund ranks during Klopp’s time in charge and was even called into training under the German.
Many expected Pulisic to join Liverpool from Dortmund but he instead made the switch to Chelsea in 2019.
Unless Chelsea’s asking price drops, it sounds like Pulisic to Liverpool will remain a simple idea rather than an actual transfer.
