Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and David Moyes’s West Ham United are interested in signing Amadou Onana from Lille in the summer transfer window, according to FootMercato.
The report has claimed interest from AS Monaco in Onana as well.
Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly close to joining Real Madrid despite interest from Liverpool, and the Ligue 1 outfit want to bring in Onana as a replacement.
Arsenal or West Ham United for Amadou Onana?
In our view, Amadou Onana should pick Arsenal over West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League top four this season and will be determined to finish in the Champions League places in 2022-23.

The Gunners will play in the Europa League next season, which means Onana could get games in a better competition that the Conference League where West Ham could feature in.
Arsenal have a young and dynamic squad, and working with Arteta on a regular basis could improve Onana, who is only 20.
The Belgium Under-21 international made 11 starts and 21 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lille this past season.
The midfielder scored one goal in those games.
Onana also made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Champions League.
Lille paid Hamburg €7 millon (£5.96m) in transfer fees for Onana last summer (FootMercato).
