Richarlison hasn’t ruled out leaving Everton having discussed his future amid interest from the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton managed to stay in the Premier League with just a game to spare as Frank Lampard dragged them to safety.

The Toffees simply cannot be in a similar position next season and Frank Lampard will need to bolster his squad.

Yet Everton may need to sell players in order to make that happen, and striker Richarlison will certainly attract interest.

Richarlison hasn’t ruled out leaving Everton

Richarlison was arguably the driving force in Everton’s push for Premier League survival.

The Brazilian striker racked up six goals and two assists in his final 10 games of the season, enjoying a rich vein of form.

Richarlison finished the the campaign with 10 goals and five assists in 30 games, averaging a goal contribution every other game.

Richarlison has now been with Everton for four years having joined from Watford back in the summer of 2018.

Is it now time to move on? Richarlison hasn’t exactly closed the door on that notion.

Speaking to Globo Esporte back in Brazil, Richarlison has admitted that he has made his wishes clear to the Everton board.

Richarlison added that he has spoken to Frank Lampard about his future and we will all know more come June.

The striker did though note that he feels ‘speechless’ at the mere thought of leaving Everton given his connection with the fans and love for the club.

“I’ve already made it clear to the board, I’ve already talked to Lampard too, with my managers and they know what I want. Let’s wait for June,” said Richarlison.

“Now I can’t talk, because when I talk about leaving a club I’m kind of like this, because of the history I have at Everton, the affection that the fans have for me, when I talk about leaving I’m kind of speechless,” he added.

Richarlison may play for Brazil at this year’s World Cup in Qatar and may feel he needs to be playing at a higher level now.

Goal claim that Arsenal have held talks over a potential deal for Richarlison in recent weeks and could push to bring him to London.

Yet having missed out on Champions League football, Arsenal could lose out – and rivals Tottenham are also keen.

The Daily Mail claim that Spurs are fighting Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the race for Richarlison.

Everton’s financial woes may mean that Richarlison is sold to raise funds, but any exit will be very emotional for the Brazilian ace.
