West Ham are interested in Moise Kean and held talks with Juventus chief Federico Cherubini last week over a potential deal.

The Hammers enjoyed another strong season under David Moyes but the end to the campaign will have felt a little flat.

West Ham lost in the Europa League semi-finals and then missed out on the top six with a 3-1 defeat at Brighton on the final day.

West Ham will be in the Europa Conference League next season and Moyes will naturally want more signings to cope with the schedule.

One position that needs attention is up front with Michail Antonio needing some support up top.

West Ham are interested in Moise Kean

One name being linked with a move to West Ham is Juventus striker Kean.

The striker is still officially owned by Everton but his loan move to Juventus becomes permanent this summer.

The problem for Kean is that Juventus are seemingly open to offloading him even after that deal turns permanent.

Il Bianco Nero in Italy now report that West Ham would like to sign Kean.

Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini was in London last week and it’s claimed that there were talks between the Italian and West Ham.

Kean was the reason for those talks with West Ham entering the race for his signature.

It’s noted that Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites for Kean having been impressed with him on loan last season.

Kean, 22, was one predicted to be an absolute superstar but his 2019 move to Everton really hasn’t worked out.

Kean is in danger of wasting his enormous potential but David Moyes seemingly feels that he can get the best out of him.

Hailed as ‘fantastic’ by Carlo Ancelotti, it’s clear that Kean has talent but putting it all together really hasn’t been easy.

This is a huge gamble for West Ham if they go ahead with a move, and it didn’t really work when Everton took a punt another former Everton misfit in Nikola Vlasic.

That’s something for Moyes to consider with Kean just one of many strikers being linked.
