Jeunes Footeux claim Manchester City are willing to sell Ilkay Gundogan this summer, if they receive bids of £17m – amid interest from Arsenal. The Germany star has been told he can leave the Etihad, this summer.
Gundogan, 31, was the difference for Manchester City on the final day of the season. He came off the bench to score two of City’s three goals in a 3-2 comeback win against Aston Villa, to retain the Premier League title.

However, the ex-Dortmund midfielder’s future in doubt. The first signing of Pep Guardiola’s reign has been told he can leave City, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season. Arsenal are among the clubs keen.
The player himself even admitted on Instagram that he has not found this season an easy one, given he has started only 32 of his 43 games and been an unused sub 10 times. JF claim City will accept offers of just £17million.
Manchester City to sell Gundogan for £17m amid Arsenal interest
Gundogan is a player that is in the elite bracket of midfielders in European football. He has the ability to change games, under the most-intense of pressure. Arsenal need a midfielder, and he would be absolutely perfect.
Yes, his wages would be large, and yes, he is 32 in October. But Arsenal have tried to sign younger players in the likes of Albert Sambi Lokonga and it has not worked out. They need a bit of experience, missing in their top-four run.
The “phenomenal” Gundogan – as depicted by Garth Crooks – would take Arsenal into contention for the top four. Possibly even further, in a potential pursuit of the Europa League trophy.
