The Newcastle United legend believes that Son has been “absolutely phenomenal” for Tottenham this season.

Tottenham beat Norwich City 5-0 to finish in the Premier League top four.
Son scored twice to end up with 23 goals in the league this season, same as many as Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Salah and Son have shared the Golden Boot award.

Alan Shearer on Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min
Shearer said about Son on Match of the Day on BBC One on Sunday: “He has been absolutely phenomenal. He has been one of the players of the season.”
Important player
In our opinion, Son Heung-min is one of the best and most important players for Tottenham.
The South Korea international has established himself as an important source of goals for Spurs over the past few years.
Now, Son is not a ‘natural’ striker, but he still gets goals, and for him to finish as the joint top scorer in the Premier League is remarkable.
We know that Harry Kane is the best and most potent striker at Tottenham, and to get more goals than the England international is truly brilliant for Son.
