Lee Dixon has said on ITV (6:50pm, May 14, 2022) that Liverpool forward Luis Diaz was “outstanding” against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in London.
Diaz was in action for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool against Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Colombia international winger started the match and played for 98 minutes.
Former Arsenal star Dixon was on co-commentary duty for FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool on ITV, and he was impressed by Diaz.

Impressive performance
In our opinion, Liverpool winger Luis Diaz was superb against Chelsea and was a problem for the Blues defence throughout his time on the pitch.
The Colombia international asked questions of the Chelsea defence and was unlucky not to score when he was denied by the frame of the goal.
Diaz was a threat whenever he had the ball, and his energy levels were remarkable.
In our view, Liverpool have signed a gem in Diaz, who is still only 25 and has his best years ahead of him.
