The report has claimed that Liverpool have already ‘wrapped up’ a deal to sign Fulham youngster Carvalho in the summer transfer window.
The Premier League giants will reportedly make the announcement of the transfer deal ‘soon’.
The Athletic reported last month that Liverpool will pay Fulham £5 million plus add-ons for the 19-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
Fulham manager Marco Silva told The Athletic this month that the Portugal Under-21 international “has a brilliant career in front of him” and “is a top top talent”.
Liverpool reportedly wanted to sign Carvalho in the January transfer window, but the Reds could not get the deal over the line.
One for the future
In our opinion, Carvalho is a player for the future for Liverpool.
After all, the Portuguese attacker is only 19.
Liverpool signed Luis Diaz in the January transfer window, and there is also Harvey Elliott in the squad.
The Reds are well stocked in their attacking department.
It would not be a bad idea for Liverpool to send Carvalho back to Fulham on loan for next season.
