Premier League duo Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur want Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but Lazio owner Claudio Lotito insists the Serie A star is ‘not for sale’, speaking to Rai Sport.

Lotito knows the drill by now.

There are a few certainties in life; Death, taxes and the fact that, every single summer until the end of days, Milinkovic-Savic will be linked almost incessantly with a big-money move to the Premier League.

First, Manchester United and Liverpool . This year, it’s Tottenham’s turn.

According to Sky Italia, Lazio would consider offers of around £67 million for the colossal midfielder. Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici both know Milinkovic-Savic very well indeed, on the back of their time in Italian football.

If links with Tottenham were somewhat inevitable, links with Fulham certainly came as a surprise.

90Min claimed recently that, after their return to the top-flight, Marco Silva’s side were hoping that Aleksandar Mitrovic could help lure one of Europe’s top midfielders to Craven Cottage, albeit for a fee that would obliterate Fulham’s transfer record.

“Did I put him up for sale? You always talk about money, I talk about the technical and moral qualities of the players. Milinkovic-Savic is not for sale,” Lotito says, extinguishing the flames of speculation.

“I respect him a lot. I have never put him up for sale. Is there a ‘for sale’ sign?”

Lotito, Lazio’s outspoken owner, admits that he once turned down a staggering £120 million bid for Milinkovic-Savic.

“If I was approached by a top team, I would ask the player (if he wants to go). When I was made an indecent offer of 140 million euros, I decided not to sell,” he adds, via Tuttomercatoweb.

Just last summer, the Serbia international admitted that he plans to stay at the Stadio Olimpico for ‘many more years’.

Milinkovic-Savic, who could’ve joined Celtic for just £500,000 long before he made his name in Serie A, has produced 10 goals and 12 assists for Lazio this term.
