Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are wiling to pay €35 million (£29.96m) for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has told CaughtOffside that Tielemans will 100% leave Leicester this summer.
The Belgium international midfielder is out of contract at the Foxes in 2023.
Romano has added that Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Tielemans – described as “an incredible talent” by former Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson on Sky Sports News (12:59pm, October 23, 2021) – and are willing to pay €30-35 million (£25.68-29.96m) for the 25-year-old.
Youri Tielemans could be a bargain signing for Arsenal
In our opinion, if Arsenal are able to sign Tielemans for £30 million, then he would be a bargain signing for the Gunners.
Tielemans is still only 24 and has his best years ahead of him.

Arsenal paid £30 million for Martin Odegaard, and the Norway international attacking midfielder is playing a key role in the Gunners’ push to end up in the Champions League places this season.
We have seen Tielemans do well for Leicester, although he has not been at his best this season.
The Belgian could do with a new challenge, and if Arsenal get into the Champions League, then the Gunners would be very appealing to him.
