Alan Smith has said on Sky Sports Premier League (2:19pm, May 8, 2022) that Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard is now worth £60 million.
The former Arsenal striker made the comments about Odegaard while watching him in action against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s side won 2-1.
Smith was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports.
Odegaard cost Arsenal £30 million in transfer fees when they signed him on a permanent contract from Real Madrid (Sky Sports).

In our opinion, Odegaard is one of the best young attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is a key figure at Arsenal.
The 23-year-old Norway international has grown as the season has progressed and is now a leader in the middle of the park.
Odegaard is still a young player, but he is showing maturity beyond his years.
The Arsenal no. 8 has made 29 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
Odegaard has scored six goals and given four assists in those matches.
If Arsenal end up in the Premier League top four this season, then it will be largely due to Odegaard’s performances and influence in midfield.
