Benfica star Adel Taarabt will be fit to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Champions League this week, according to A Bola.
Adel Taarabt fit for Benfica v Liverpool
Liverpool will take on Benfica away from home in Portugal in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday evening.
The second leg will be held at Anfield next week.
A Bola are reporting this morning that Benfica ace Taarabt will be fit for the first leg tomorrow.
The Morocco international midfielder reportedly trained without any problems on Sunday after being out for two weeks due to injury.
Jurgen Klopp’s side favourites
In our opinion, Liverpool will head into the Champions League match against Benfica on Tuesday evening as favourites.
The Premier League giants are on a roll now and also have a far superior team to that of Benfica.

However, we have to say that having Taarabt back will be a boost to Benfica’s chances of winning the first leg, or least earning a draw.
We know all about the 32-year-old from his time at Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers in England.
Former Tottenham and QPR striker Crouch played with Taarabt and described him as a player with “so much ability” and who “was more interested in trying to nutmeg a defender than play the sensible pass” in The Daily Mail in April 2020.
Taarabt has reinvented himself at Benfica, and has scored one goal and provided two assists in 18 Portuguese league games so far this season.
The midfielder has also made two starts and five substitute appearances in the Champions League this campaign.
