Harry Kane has lauded the work Antonio Conte has done at Tottenham since coming to the club in late 2021 following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.
Speaking to the Premier League’s official website, the Spurs talisman was full of praise for the Italian manager, who was lured to north London by Daniel Levy shortly after the dismissal of his Portuguese counterpart in the first half of the season.
Since the arrival of Conte, Kane’s form has improved greatly, with the England captain hitting impressive heights in 2022 as the striker was named Player of the Month for March as Tottenham look to rival Arsenal for fourth spot in the standings.
A UEFA Champions League finish would be an incredible achievement for Conte in his first season at Tottenham, and for Kane, the former Inter Milan coach has worked wonders in improving the striker’s game since coming to north London.
Kane said: “Antonio’s come in and obviously changed the way he wanted to work, and tactically changed from other managers I’ve worked under, so I feel like I’ve been learning since he’s arrived.
The Tottenham star added: “I think you can see, not just in me but the team as well, trying to understand the way he wants to work, the way he wants to play. And it’s definitely improved me as a player, so yeah, I can’t speak highly enough of him.”
Kane’s improvement under Conte is exciting for Tottenham

Kane has looked like a changed player when you compare the striker’s form when Tottenham were managed by Nuno to now under Conte, and the forward’s recent comments are exciting for the club’s future.
With a top-four finish on the cards this season, Champions League football could see Conte push Tottenham to exciting new heights, especially if Levy gives the Italian the budget needed to greatly improve the squad in his image this summer.
