Gavi disappointment for Liverpool and Manchester City

In our opinion, Gavi signing a new contract with Barcelona is a blow for Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 17-year-old is one of the best young players in the world and has been described as a “midfield maestro” by Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker n Twitter on October 10, 2021.

Now, of course, we know that both Liverpool and City have brilliant midfield players, but Gavi is a rare talent who has already made himself a key figure at Barcelona.

Barcelona are doing the right thing by handing Gavi a new long-term contract.
