Football website 90Min report that Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all in talks to sign Benfica goal machine Darwin Nunez. The Uruguay star is rated at £65m by the Champions League quarter-finalists.
Nunez, 22, has been in sensational form for Benfica this season – scoring a huge 26 goals in 33 games. He has become a more selfish version of the player that scored 14 last season, but also laid on an impressive 12 assists.

His form has not gone unnoticed in the Premier League. Arsenal have long been linked as they continue to pursue a striker signing, while Jorge Mendes is said to be talking to Nunez and Tammy Abraham about Spurs.
Now, 90Min report that Manchester United have been watching Nunez and have joined Arsenal, Tottenham, Villa and Newcastle in opening talks with his agents. But Benfica want as much as £65million for the striker.
Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham or Villa – which club is best for Nunez?
Arsenal desperately need a striker with Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette out of contract this summer. With the Gunners looking good to finish in fourth place, a move to The Emirates would suit Nunez.
He fits into their blueprint of signing players between 20 and 25, but ones with real quality and experience. Tottenham could do with Nunez if Harry Kane leaves, but that is a big if given Daniel Levy will remain stubborn.
Newcastle and Villa lack European competition to offer Nunez. But Newcastle have the finances and Villa are showing ambition. The Toon could do with a top-tier striker and Nunez fits the bill.
