Madrid have told the Spain international winger to agree to their proposal by June 30, or else they would have no problem in selling him to Arsenal or Liverpool.
The former Spanish and European giants have offered the 26-year-old Spain international a new five-year deal worth €9 million (£7.53 million) per season).
Asensio have yet to respond to this offer, and Madrid are getting impatient, according to Sport.

Marco Asensio boost for Liverpool
In our view, Liverpool could well be able to sign Asensio if he does not agree to Madrid’s offer by the end of June.
Sport‘s report suggests that Madrid are keen to know the answer of the 26-year-old Spain international to plan their summer transfer window.
Now, Asensio has a release clause of €500 million (£418.28m) in his contract (The Mirror).
No club is going to pay that fee, and if Madrid are forced to sell Asensio, then they will not demand a huge amount.
So it could play into Liverpool’s hands.
Asensio is a very experienced winger who is only 26.
His best years are ahead of him.
During his time at Madrid so far, Asensio has won the La Liga twice and the Champions League on three occasions.
